Senior Objective-C Developer
Formos is a software design and development company specializing in new product development and process management solutions. We create software for the web, mobile devices and the desktop. We develop enterprise applications in Java, .NET, Ruby on Rails and Objective-C using an agile, adaptive process. We make extensive use of open source tools and libraries where appropriate.
We are looking for a senior Objective-C developer for a 6-month contract position with potential conversion to full time. You will work from our downtown Vancouver, WA office with occasional trips to our client's facility in Eugene, OR. This is a client-facing role requiring good people skills and excellent attention to detail. You must possess a strong work ethic and superior verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of software development experience
- At least 3 years of Objective-C and Cocoa development
- Excellent problem solving and analysis skills
- Strong object modeling and design skills
Responsibilities:
- Software design, architecture and development
- Legacy application maintenance and upgrades
- Technical leadership of 2 to 5 person teams
- Team mentorship
- Test plan development
- Design review and code review
